What is Toyota Talks?
Toyota Talks is an exclusive community for you to share your opinions, thoughts and ideas with Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance by participating in research tasks relating to cars, travel, transport, finance and insurance. The research tasks will help to shape the Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance service, products and adverts that you come across and it will inform decisions made by Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance.
As a member of Toyota Talks, you will be invited to participate in research activities via email. These will be varied, for example it may be a survey or an online discussion forum.
Who manages Toyota Talks?
Toyota Talks is managed by Lucid, an independent research company, Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance. To get in touch with Toyota Talks, please email tara@toyotatalks.com.au.
Who reads the findings?
The research will be used internally by Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance to inform them about what you want from them.
Will you try to sell me something?
The information you share with us is purely for research purposes.

Membership
Why should I become a member of Toyota Talks?
As well as having the opportunity to influence decisions made by Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance, and express your opinions on a range of subjects, you will have the chance to win prizes for participating in activities. You will also gain access to other exclusive rewards from time to time.
Now I’ve joined Toyota Talks, what happens next?
Once you have joined Toyota Talks as a member, you will be sent invitations to research activities, such as surveys and discussions to your email address from time to time. Clicking on a link in the invitation email will take you directly to the research activity.
What happens if I no longer want to be part of Toyota Talks?
If you decide to opt out of receiving communications from Toyota Talks you can do so at any time. You can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from Toyota Talks.
Prizes and Rewards
How will I be rewarded for my participation?
There is no payment for participation in the Toyota Talks research activities. We do run prize draws after each research activity to acknowledge participant contributions and thoughts.
Prizes
Prize winners will each receive a GiftPay voucher. The number of winners and the prize value will depend on the research activity type and duration and be provided in the survey invitation as well as outlined in the Prize Draw T&Cs link for each activity.
GiftPay vouchers are redeemable against a range of retailers such as Coles, Myer, JB Hi-Fi and more. You can find more information about Giftpay vouchers and how to use them here.
How do I collect my prize?
Winners will receive their GiftPay vouchers online at the email address they used to complete the activity. Recipients can then open their GiftPay voucher on any smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Privacy
What will you do with the information I share with you?
Toyota Talks collects some personal data about each member for a number of reasons. First, it enables us to contact you about research to take part in. Secondly, it enables us to contact you with just those surveys which are relevant to you. Thirdly, it helps us to analyse our survey data by, for example, your gender, age, or what region you live in. Your individual responses to the surveys and discussions will be available to Toyota Finance and Toyota Insurance. Your data will be secure and never be passed on to third parties without your permission. For further information, please check our privacy policy.
Will I get spam as a result of signing up to Toyota Talks?
No. Toyota Talks has been created for research purposes and your personal data will not be shared with or sold to third parties. Your contact details will be used to contact you for research purposes only.
